Sounds like a great birthday! I'm surprised you don't know about the almost unlimited bootleg availability at www.expectingrain.com. Do the following: Click on "discussion". Register (for free) and sign in. Then under discussion "Rare recordings" will appear. Click on this and you'll find basically bootlegs from almost every show he's ever played! People put them out often the day after the show. Enjoy!

Well, I signed up again, and I'm so sorry he doesn't come to Norway on this tour with Mark Knopfler, would to me be a dream to listen to them both. Bootleg from the show in Odense?? Where who how??? I want it too, is it our Norwegian friend you contacted? He was in a really good mood in Odense. ps. Yesterday I attended the Norwegian Bob Dylan poet, and he's written som of his own stuff too, Tom Roger Aadland, and he announced a greeting to me, personally, with a happy birthday, and asked for an applause for me!! yay! wow! - and he signed 2 of his albums I'd bought, and he shook my hand and gave me a hug! I also got a picture taken of us both together! lol I'm happy these days, hurray!

Btw DH, I envy you the Odense show. Heard it was great. I've just downloaded the bootleg from the show, but haven't had time to listen to it yet. I was at the Bergen and Oslo show. I was hoping for a bit more mix of the set list, but think both shows was great. Forgetful heart was haunting. He seems to enjoy playing a lot these days.

Well, I was lucky I guess ;) I follow the setlists quite closely as they appear on www.boblinks.com the same day, or the day after the show. This site also show a list of songs performed where and when. (click on the "Songs performed" on the menu on the top left corner of the page. On this page you easily get the idea of what to pick. Of course I also have to pick the songs that gives most points, not neccesarily the ones that are played the most. Really I think the pool would have been better if we could pick free all 20 songs, not the categories that is now. Anyway, be sure to remember to sign up for the Us tour!

I was in Odense, took great pictures, they are on my FB site.. I got to hear him perform Every Grain of Sand, which alsom was a shot in the dark! Never exptected, so why not Abandoned Love? Yes, we need more on our team, strange if they don't appear, I guess if they've joined another team, and haven't left that, they might not appear here..

Yep. We should get at least one more, but I guess it´s only the captain that can invite? Btw Dylans harmonica, I see you got Abandoned love as your 20 point pick. Perhaps a bit of a long shot, but a good really song, which would have been great if he´d played. Either the acoustic version as at Other End village 1975, the Rolling Thunder Review version or a completely new version. Are any of you going to any shows this summer?

I thought the categories were difficult this time round, I didn't think I would do well but I'm surprised that the scores are all low, not just with our team.

Yes, I was there! It would have been fun to have met, -next time! We only had tickets in the second class, and were a bit worried about getting bad seats. During the opening Leopard skin pillbox hat, we realized that it was completely caos, and that we wouldn’t see anything with the umbrellas and all, so we ran towards the stage. We actually ended up with a great view pretty close to the right middle side of the stage. A bit crowdy perhaps, but ok. For some reason I had got the impression that the gig was indoors, and had dressed accordingly. With the nice weather and all, we got pretty soaked after waiting in line to get in;) Luckilly we met a guy selling these ridiculous rainponchos inside. We probably looked like two old grannys, but what the heck, they worked! ;) Bob probably would have thought it was some kind of italian fashion or something :) I think it was a good show. The sound was really good were I was standing. The crowd however could have been a bit more enthusiastic. For example during just like a woman, were bob clearly waited a couple of seconds for the crowd to join in on “just like a woman”. Anyway, I think it was a good version of the song. I loved high water, ballad of thin man and things have changed as well. The bootleg of the show is of pretty good quality. Have you listened to it?

Hi FrankieLee... Yes as there were no UK gigs this tear we choose to combine a holiday with a trip to Bergamo. I think all the Italian gigs were problematic with regards to seating, even the stewards seems to be confused! We started around the middle but when everyone started standing on seats ...with umbrellas up !! we edged our way to front left and got a half decent view, in amongst the showers. Were you there too then Frankie, if i'd known I would have loved to meet you!
