hm one can't edit what one shouts.
OK, meaning second LP minus Early Roman Kings is dull.
That is, 3 songs at the end of the CD.
boring. ROJ great song in another context, but after 2 long and slow songs also dull. |

well, that was it for me this time around. but it was a great tour for my ears. also, I re-evaluated Tempest I have to admit I did not care much about before hearing it live. Now I think first LP was great, but the second - ERK still kinda sucks. I mean, too many long slow songs one after another. still, what he did live sounded perfect.
and yes, I got a satisfied mind.
almost went to Berlin 3rd, and then said, nay, it was good enough 2x.
seeing plenty other interesting bands this fall. |

OK, second night - Bob obviously in pain, but still delivered some songs even better than yesterday. mixed up verses at love sick this time though. love sick being maybe one of the best performances of this tour.
many songs (e.g. tangled up in blue) rewrote lyrics considerably.
band played a bit more tonight.
one more thing, goes for both nights and in general my impression from latest Dylan tours - encores we could live without. strangely subdued, Bob obviously bored with singing them and just worsening the whole impression. |

report from the first Hamburg concert:
to anyone who wants to know, Dylan has again outdone himself. I've been to concerts starting 1991 almost each year, but this is far beyond anything I've heard.
tempest sounds to me much better after I heard the concert.
just amazing. good that the show is well rehearsed without any experiments.
his piano playing is great now.
you barely hear single instruments, but boy the band is tight. they play just what he wants them to play, in an amazingly sublime manner.
I mean, I really liked the show. looking forward for tonight, probably will update you guys on it tomorrow. |

I'm in the US. I last saw Bob in Seattle about a year ago. At least the show was good, though it was before he started playing any Tempest songs. You're getting a lot of them on this tour. |

You're doing GREAT, Steven. Yes, too bad you can't watch any of them. Me and ramona2005 went to the 3 opening shows, and they were top notch! What country are you from? Me, "Ramona" and Ragola are all from Norway. :) |

Hello Friiends!
I and my friend A.P. Carter was on the shows in Oslo and bouth in Waterfront in Stockholm in, Sweden. I must say Bob Dylan is fantastic and his band is solid. And specality Charlie Saxton and Bob Dylan was fantastic. In All three places. But if I must say that the SOUND ind in WATERFRONT in Sweden was FANTASTIC!!! And some songs was greping me into my TEARS. BOB DYLAN's voice IS FANTASTIC. And THIS TOUR I WILL REMEMBER REST OF MY LIFE.
So (Aliaswhat) you have good things to look to heard when bob dylan are coming on the stage in HANNOVER,I must say it so strong. IF I HAD BEAN AN MILIONAIR I HAVE TAKE MY BEST FRIEND A.P. CARTER ON REST OF THE EUROPE TOUR 2013. :):):).
WOOW BOB DYLAN IS THE KING FOREVER AFTER THIS TOUR FOR ME. :):) |
