By the way, am I seeing this right - there's only one concert left? Let's cross fingers that we finish in pole position.

But today we made it - rank # 1 overall. Big points indeed.

Now that's what I call a good start - we're on rank # 1 after the 1st concert, with 20 points ahead of the Texas Medicine guys. Da capo!

yes, 17th is mediocre for us, but we came in 1st for the last show and ended up only 34 points away from 10th place (front page). i think it was a hard tour to pick well , what with the songs Po Boy and Sugar Baby scoring so high. out of 33 shows , as a team we came in 1st for a particular show FOUR times, 2nd once, and 4th once. as for TTL, i've only heard "Its All Good" (on local radio) and that did not make me want to go out and buy the cd. i hope all of you have a good end of May, into June....

Oh well ... a mediocre tour (in itself but also for us), on which not a single song of a new, mediocre album has been played yet, meanders to an end. Let's forget it as quick as we can.

That's right John - Welcome back! What have we got here ... Mmm ... Well, even when our individual results don't look all too brilliant after three shows, that overall rank # 10 holds a promise. At least I think it does (and whishful thinking isn't forbidden, is it?). But of course, it's still early days. Which shows are we going to see? Annika and I will go to München and, of course, Berlin. Perhaps I'll also go to Hannover the day before but I'm not decided yet. It's once again a question of adequate pocket money ...

That sounds interesting, especially as you say it's a biography about JLG and not the umpteenth study of his body of work. It would be the first time someone mainly focusses on JLG's life. If that's the case I hope a chapter (at least one) has been devoted to his awry relationships with women - Karina, Wiazemsky, Roussel, Melville -, which could/would/should a new light on his films. Congrats, by the way: after the 6th show we're on rank # 1 for the first time, albeit with just a two-points advantage. Congrats!

And yes - congrats, John! If I remember correctly, none of us had ever occupied rank # 1 before. Excellent.

Daniel, when reads he this (sadly he won't have internet access for the next two weeks or so), will be surely smile about this. Going up to rank # 2 after three shows (and a disastrous result after the second) makes for a welcome surprise. Hopefully, we'll get more "Twists of Fate", "Browns" and "Masterpieces".

... And here we go again. Rank # 8 after the first show isn't all too shabby, I'd say (hey, we've got a good reason to be spoiled, right?). John's inspiration to pick "Long Black Coat", which surprised me yesterday (as the song hadn't been played all year), proved to be just right. Excellent. Let's see how things develop. All the best to us.

Good luck for the new tour, everbody! Being on rank # 9 after the first show in Philly is surely a good sign, isn't it? Once again, it seems like boring song picks go well on either side of the stage ...
